Vaping and Lung Disease.

According to the United States Center for Disease Control, they have started an investigation into the cause more than 200 cases of severe lung disease nationwide. Officials with the CDC announced that California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin have all had cases they are looking into.

CDC officials indicated that in almost all of these cases it was in teens and young adults and that it was not limited to tobacco vaping but also included vaping cannabis products as well. In Illinois there has been at least one death believed to be related to vaping, the CDC is investigating the incident in conjunction with this case.

CDC officials listed the symptoms of the lung disease as  shortness of breath, fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness and chest pain. If you have any of these symptoms seek medical attention.

Vaping seems to be on the rise, with the cost of cigarettes rising, according to sources vaping is about a third of the cost to smoking an equal amount. With Oregon having Cannabis legalized and many people not wanting to smoke, they have taken to vaping. With vaping on the rise and smoking on the decline, it will be something we here at the Oregon Conservative watch and will report on again in the future.

Skarlatos to take on Defazio

Alek Skarlatos has announced he will be taking on Peter Defazio (D) for U.S. House District 4 in November of 2020, where Defazio has served since 1987. Defazio is seen as serving the interests of New York and California Democrats instead of the needs of his constituents. Many central and southern Oregon residents feel Defazio has abandoned them for the higher profile Democrats in Washington.

Alex Skarlatos was made famous when he and two other U.S. Service Members stopped a terrorist attack aboard a Paris train in 2015. Subsequently Clint Eastwood directed a film and used Skarlatos to play himself in a portrayal of the event. Skarlatos was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross by Governor Kate Brown and has been vocal in his support for Oregon veterans, loggers, and working Moms and Dads.

Tulsi Undoes Kamela.

Tulsi Gabbard (D) HI photo courtesy of Twitter.

In the Democratic Debate last week, Tulsi Gabbard Rep. (D) HI brought out that Senator Kamela Harris (D) CA had put more than 1500 people in prison for marijuana during her tenure as the California Attorney General. She then went on to say that when Harris was asked if she ever smoked marijuana, she just laughed about it.

Gabbard also went on to outline that Harris had hidden evidence in a case that would have proven a wrongfully convicted man innocent until she was forced to reveal it. This puts Gabbard on solid ground with criminal justice reform, she shows a positive and fair view on how the system has and still does wrongfully convict people. Showing also that even when evidence exists that would prove a person innocent, rather than look bad, a prosecutor would hide such evidence, worrisome on Harris’s part.

Senator Kamela Harris, over the next few days made jabs through Mainstream media at Gabbard regarding a interview Gabbard did with Bassar al Assad, the leader of Syria, when when asked why she did not confront him on being a murderer, she just replied that there was more to it than that. Mainstream media loves Kamela Harris, and many top tier news organizations have said that Gabbard is a Russian puppet. This is the exact tactic they use when they are losing an argument and with outsiders that tell truth.

Gabbard is a combat veteran and a current member of the U.S. Armed Forces, she is calling for an end to our current wars, citing the large corporations are making billions of the wars. She calls for the end of the wars also on the basis of being tired of seeing American soldiers coming home wounded and dead.

When Gabbard made those comments about Harris, the Senator from California just looked down at her podium and shook her head, I think she knows her run for the presidency is over, as it is doubtful she can recover from this given the tight field and the sharp implications that Gabbard’s assertions carry.

Gabbard was considered to be a rising star in the Democratic party prior to 2015, it was when she seemed to pick a fight with her fellow Democrats when she used the term “Radical Islam” a term which Obama and almost no other Democrat would even utter. Gabbard’s fall from grace also had her criticizing Obama for his handling of the war, that it had gone on too long and the troops needed to come home.

Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard are outsiders in the Democratic party and as such are fighting the Main Stream Media, Big Tech, and the rest of the field. Yet they are still in the race, many Donald Trump supporters are supporters of both Yang and Gabbard as being outsiders, they represent threats to the established “Deep State.” Democrats and Republicans like war it seems, and so do big corporations, with Trump, Gabbard, and Yang all anti-war, many media outlets are calling Gabbard and Yang conservatives.
